This pressure reducer allows you to operate your sparkling machine with a large CO2 bottle that can be refilled at the specialty store. These large CO2 cylinders usually cost from 60 euros upwards depending on size/capacity. For example, a 2 liter CO2 bottle costs 100-150 euros and the filling should cost no more than 20 euros. With a large 2 kg CO2 bottle you can tap in a family of 4 with normal use about 3-6 months of sparkling water depending on the setting of the CO2 content.
